Quinta do Lago to Praia de Faro

The ideal way to see the hidden beauty of the Algarve is by bike and this is one of our most popular tours.

From the luxury and glamour that is Quinta do Lago, with its manicured beauty and some of the world's finest golf courses, to the Ria Formosa nature reserve, passing roman ruins and cycling through the salt flats, where you may spot turtles, flamingos and all sorts of interesting wildlife.

We will stop for a break and soak up the local charm of the Praia de Faro, amidst the fishermen's cottages with views over the long stretching Faro beach.   

This is a fantastic healthy way to spend a morning. We will cycle at a pace to suit you, mainly along quiet roads and dirt tracks, and we have bikes and helmets available. You just need to bring water, appropriate clothing and sun screen on hot days!

This tour is open to novice/experienced riders. It can be adapted to suit all levels. It lasts for approximately 3 hours.

We run regular tours every Tuesday morning at 09.00 am.

Price of 55 € pp includes: Transfers from accommodation in central Algarve region, 3 hour guided cycling tour, insurance, bike & helmet hire.
